SBI Specialist Officer 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the SBI SO 2025 eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualifications: Graduation (any discipline) from Government recognized University or Institution AND Certificate in Forex by IIBF (certificate date should be latest by 31.12.2024)

Job Profile

  • Trade Finance Document Scrutiny: Responsible for reviewing all trade finance-related documents, including Letters of Credit, Collections, Bank Guarantees, etc., to ensure compliance with Bank, RBI, ICC, FEDAI, and other regulatory guidelines. Provide support and guidance to junior staff at the CPC, front office at branches, and customers as needed.
  • Processing of Trade Finance and Forex Transactions: Handle the processing of Trade Finance and Forex transactions at a centralized location on behalf of all branches, ensuring accurate processing within the stipulated Turnaround Time (TAT).
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile Trade Finance and Forex entries across the Bank’s Trade Finance, Forex, CBS systems, and IDPMS/EDPMS.
