Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Eligibility
Age Limit:
- If a candidate successfully passes all stages of the selection process, their upper age limit must not exceed 21 years as of the enrollment date.
- Applicants must have been born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008 (inclusive of both dates) to qualify for the application.
Educational Qualification:
(a) Science Subjects:
- Candidates must have completed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English from a recognized Central, State, or Union Territory Education Board, achieving at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
OR - Must hold a three-year Diploma in Engineering in fields such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or Information Technology from a Polytechnic institute recognized by Central, State, or UT authorities, with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English in the Diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English was not included in the Diploma curriculum).
OR - Should have completed a two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects, including Physics and Mathematics, from a recognized Central, State, or UT Education Board, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English in the Vocational Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English was not part of the Vocational Course).
(b) Non-Science Subjects:
- Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination in any stream or subject from a recognized Central, State, or UT Education Board, with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
OR - Should have completed a two-year Vocational Course from a recognized Central, State, or UT Education Board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English in the Vocational Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English was not included in the Vocational Course).
