Applying for APSC CCE 2025 is an online-only process. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth submission:

  1. Visit the Portal: Head to apsc.nic.in and access the ‘Online Recruitment Portal.’
  2. One-Time Registration (OTR): New users must register with basic details (name, email, etc.) to get login credentials.
  3. Log In: Use your credentials to access the application form.
  4. Fill Details: Enter personal, educational, and contact information accurately.
  5. Upload Documents: Submit a recent photograph, signature, and other required files in the specified format.
  6. Pay the Fee:
    • General: ₹297.20
    • OBC/MOBC: ₹197.20

Exam Stages of APSC CCE Recruitment 2025

The APSC CCE 2025 selection process comprises three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Personal Interview. Each stage tests different skills, so let’s dive into the details:

1. Preliminary Examination

  • Type: Objective (Multiple-Choice Questions)
  • Papers: Two (General Studies I & II)

  • Purpose: A screening test to qualify for the Mains. Scores don’t count toward the final merit.

The Prelims is tentatively set for June 1, 2025, and will be held across multiple centers in Assam, including Guwahati, Jorhat, and Silchar.

2. Main Examination

  • Type: Descriptive (Written)
  • Papers: 6 papers (Essay + General Studies)

Candidates shortlisted from the Prelims (roughly 11-12 times the number of vacancies) will take the Mains in Guwahati.
